The only minor hiccup was the early check-in time, but that was manageable. Overall, a wonderfully cozy experience.

I had a lovely stay at Townhouse Exeter, which was beautifully decorated and felt very homely. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night, and the breakfast was excellent, especially the warm almond croissant! However, I found the room a bit on the smaller side, and it was unfortunate that I couldn’t check in early after arriving by train.

I had a lovely stay at The Townhouse in Exeter, with really good service from Tim and Ken. The room was cozy and clean, though the pillows were a bit firm for my liking. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. The only downside was that I couldn't check in until 3 pm, but I made the best of it by exploring the city a bit first.
